Michael has worked in more than thirty countries helping leaders and organizations navigate through significant change. Working in different sectors across the globe, he has developed advanced skills in leadership development, change management, and organizational development. His practical work experience has been gained by working as a senior business executive, chief HR officer, executive coach, internal and external consultant across a range of industries in the private and public sector including oil and gas, mining, fast moving consumer goods, security, ICT and management consulting.

His primary expertise lies in cultural transformation, executive development and coaching, senior team effectiveness, and CEO/C-suite succession management.

He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in organization development and a second master’s degree in a joint program at the business schools of Oxford University in the UK and HEC in Paris. In the Oxford/HEC program, he was awarded a distinction for his dissertation on the sense-making and decision-making of leaders. In addition, he holds the prestigious diploma in coaching from Oxford University. He is also certified in over twenty of the leading personal assessment tools and technologies.

Michael is currently based in South Africa. Prior to joining The Green Zone Culture Group, he was a senior partner with KornFerry in Switzerland, one the world’s largest leadership and talent development consultancies.
